Our story
SMART Choice started after more than 10 years working with various dealerships, assessing and repairing every kind of cosmetic damage, from light scuffs and scratches to damaged panels and kerbed alloys.
With that experience behind us, it was time to go independent and bring the same standard of repair straight to customers' doors.
The idea is simple. Instead of losing your car to a bodyshop for days, we bring professional SMART repair techniques to your drive or workplace, so you can carry on with your day while your car is repaired.
Being mobile means every week brings different places and different people, and that's a big part of what we enjoy about the job. We like being out and about, meeting customers and leaving their cars looking their best.

We use a range of methods to make sure the colour matches your car. For some colours and types of damage, we may advise blending the paint into the neighbouring panel for the best result. We'll explain this before any work starts.
Some repairs depend on the weather. Smaller repairs, such as a bumper corner, can usually go ahead in average rain, as we carry a pop-up gazebo that's set up in minutes. In heavy rain or strong wind, it's sometimes best to rearrange.
Off-road parking, such as a driveway, as we don't carry out repairs on a public road. Ideally the car shouldn't be parked right next to another vehicle, so dust doesn't settle on it. We'll also need access to a standard electric socket to plug the van into. The van carries long leads, so you won't need an extension lead.
SMART repairs are usually cheaper than a bodyshop, and more convenient, as we come to you and repair your car on site.
Yes. Our paintwork comes with a 12-month guarantee. New stone chips or new damage to the repaired panels aren't covered.
You can pay by bank transfer (BACS) or cash.
